Complaints against state-certified contractors also can be filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Request a complaint form
Complaints against certified, registered and locally licensed contractors can be filed with Contractor Licensing as long as the violation has occurred in our jurisdiction.
We can address building code violations but not contractual disputes, fee and price disputes or quality of workmanship issues.
Reports of unlicensed contracting or work without a permit should be reported to Code Enforcement.
